No visit to Cornwall is ever complete
without a visit to its island retreat.
It is easy to find from the A thirty
but wear stout shoes you don’t mind getting dirty.
It’s fun to walk on the causeway at low tide,
if you don’t fancy that, it’s a short boat ride.
Then climb to the top if you’ve got enough puff,
or maybe a walk round the garden’s enough.
Lush tropical plants climb up high on the mount,
with more bright varieties than you can count.
At the end of your visit, you’ll want cream tea,
but look out for the rising tide of the sea!
