When in Mevagissey, you should park at the top
and walk into the town, where you can always stop
on the way down at Gnomeland. It’s not very far
for you to take a pisky or gnome to your car.
Then if you fancy a pasty, cream tea or brew,
just walk down the hill and there is plenty for you.
Continue to the harbour – you’re in for a treat,
and if the tide’s in, it’s especially sweet.
You may like to go for a trip on a ferry –
for a couple of hours or more out to Fowey.
But if you have got some time, I have got a hunch,
that you would stay by the harbour eating your lunch.
