A Little Poem

Little things please me
so much more than anything
that money can buy.
******
I tried to write a
Haiku. That is the littlest
poem that I know.
*********
My sleeping dog lay
at my feet, dreaming of her
next run in the park.
My sleeping dog lay
at my feet. I was hoping
she’d wake up and bark.
My sleeping dog lay
at my feet. I knew that soon
her world would grow dark
She slept well at the end, my best friend.
