Information overload

When I was young I soaked up information like a sponge.
Most of what I learned I have never needed to use in life,
but why do I now remember all that I learned so long ago
yet I cannot remember why I have walked into this room?

Born.
I walked
and then talked,
soon went to school
and lessons I learned,
soaked up information,
and then gained experience
in raising kids and working skills.
My brain has been filled to bursting point.
Now I’m old I’m suffering from
i n f o r m a t i o n overload.
I need to delete files
full of memories,
upload how to
remember
why I’m
here.
